Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
We are currently looking for a:
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Permanent position
Main mission:
Ensure the receipt, inspection, shipping, and logistical management of parts, products, and materials within the company, in compliance with quality and regulatory procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Receiving & Inspection:
• Receive and inspect parts, materials, or products from suppliers, sites, or subcontractors (SAP).
• Control quantities, certificates, compliance with purchase orders and SAP requirements.
• Manage non-conformities (alert, hold, corrections in the system).
• Archive certificates and update databases (SAP, Casq-it, inventory files).
• Manage the receipt and handling of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
Shipping:
• Packaging of finished products (handling heavy loads using the overhead crane)
• Manage the aeronautical warehouse using a forklift
• Prepare shipments of finished parts to customers or suppliers, including managing shipping and compliance documents.
• Organize transportation, optimize costs, and verify related invoices.
• Prepare/control export/import documentation as needed.
Store & Warehouse Management:
• Receive, control, and store items in the store (including control of certificates and safety data sheets).
• Manage procurement (orders, min/max inventory levels, creating items in SAP).
• Prepare and deliver items to various workstations, according to operational needs.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and specific shipments (e.g., FedEx, Puro).
Inventory Management:
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and document all outputs/losses/withdrawals.
• Keep files and databases up to date (e.g., Forge Inventory).
Logistical Support:
• Support 5S audits, maintain cleanliness/organization of docks and warehouses.
• Assist the logistics coordinator with the receipt of samples, management of tests, report creation, preparation of special shipments (e.g., steel blocks, rings, etc.).
Ability to replace or support colleagues in various activities as needed.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar job, ideally in aerospace
• Proficiency in SAP (and associated tools: Casq-it, ShopVue).
• Knowledge in logistics, quality control, international receiving/shipping, and hazardous materials management.
• Rigor, organization, and autonomy.
• Team spirit and versatility.
• Adherence to quality and safety procedures.
