Specialist - Business Development, Individual Insurance
Main responsibilities:
Implements procedures to better manage orphan, unassigned or unrepresented clients as well as the identification of inactive or unlicensed advisors
Lists, understands and acts according to the rules of each provider regarding the management of orphan policies and unlicensed representatives
Searches for information on policies on company websites or requests it and prepares lists of policies to be assigned
Enters data into the internal management system
Assigns identified advisors to orphan clients and follows up with advisors on the results of the assignments
Carries out an inventory of advisors whose license has expired or with a license whose contract has been cancelled or is inactive with one or more insurers and asks the companies insurance the list of policies in force these advisors
Carries out the analysis of the blocks of policies in force and identifies business development opportunities
Monitors the results and provides a report to management
Keeps up to date on the rules of each insurer concerning the management of orphan policies and inactive representatives and on the industry rules in order to carry out management in accordance with the expectations of the authorities and insurers
Maintains the files of orphan clients until an advisor is assigned to them
Works in collaboration with the compensation and contracts department to keep the inventory of orphan clients up to date
Provides solutions and recommendations on procedures and work methods in order to facilitate and optimize work
Profile sought :
University degree in administration or equivalent training
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or in the field of personal insurance/investment
Good knowledge of administrative procedures associated with life insurance and investment
Good knowledge of life insurance and investment products
Ms-Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Proficiency in spoken/written French
