Supervisor - Nature Center (CDN) - Weekend

The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, you supervise the execution of maintenance and development work on the site and buildings of the Nature Center.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the employees under your charge. You participate in the control and monitoring of the use of budgets and material resources.

More specifically:

  • You plan, organize, supervise, and control by directing the work or activities to be executed, establish different priorities, and ensure compliance with directives;
  • You maintain harmonious relationships with users and oversee the follow-up of procedures;
  • You ensure the management of human resources by monitoring compliance with schedules and the application of collective agreements.
The ideal profile for us
  • Hold an AEC in urban infrastructure foreman or AEC in team coordination in the workplace or AEC in supervising a team of employees or any other combination of studies and relevant experience related to the position will be considered;
  • Possess five (5) years of relevant experience, particularly in personnel management;
  • Experience in one of the following fields: landscaping, horticulture, events, snow removal, an asset;
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards to be respected in the workplace (use of PPE, safety procedures) as well as various government laws governing health and safety at work;
  • Must have safety training for construction sites (SST), an asset;
  • Ability to write various reports and memos
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite;
  • Possess a valid driver's license, class 5.

Salary: Class 5 - $78,159.53 to $97,700.07
Schedule: DAY; FRI. SAT. SUN. - 07:00 to 19:00
