Your Role

As a driver within our laboratory, you will ensure the safe transport of biological materials and equipment between various facilities, primarily located in the Quebec City and Montreal areas.

Through your diligence and professionalism, you will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the laboratory and the quality of services offered to clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to transport biological materials and equipment
• Load, unload, and handle biological materials and equipment safely
• Adhere to standards and procedures related to the transport, handling, and safety of biological materials and equipment
• Maintain the vehicle in good working order and report any anomalies or maintenance needs
• Accurately complete delivery logs and documentation Required
• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to the various facilities served

Desired Profile

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Clean driving record provided by the SAAQ
• High school diploma or relevant experience

Personal Skills

• Reliability, flexibility, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work independently
• High vigilance and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Safe driving in various road and weather conditions
• Ability to occasionally perform light handling heavy

Assets

• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Transportation (DGTT) regulations
• Knowledge of WHMIS
• Experience in an environment governed by quality standards (ISO)

 Working Conditions

• Salary of $22 to $28/hour, depending on experience
• Evening premium of $1/hour, Monday to Friday
• Weekend premium of $2.25/hour
• Monthly allowance of $30/month for the use of your cell phone
• Variable schedule according to operational needs
