Accounting technician

Groupe Conseil UDA is looking for an accounting and finance technician to complete its administrative team.

His main tasks will include, among others, monitoring and invoicing between related companies, managing customer and supplier accounts, preparing various annual and periodic reports, bank reconciliation, preparing files for year-end external auditors, as well as various other administrative and accounting tasks.

The position can be attached to one of our offices (Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu or Quebec City) or telework up to 100% of the time depending on the candidate's autonomy and level of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produce reports and statements: month-end, income statements, projections and other specific needs;
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable;
  • Consolidate accounts, perform monthly bank reconciliation;
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget;
  • Prepare claims to departments and agencies;
  • Participate in the processing of payroll, salaries and other benefits;
  • Provide support to managers regarding the administrative management of all service offerings and all contracts;
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks.

Requirements

  • DEC in Finance, Administration or Accounting;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent command of Office suite tools (particularly Excel);
  • Ability to work under pressure and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines;
  • Know how to communicate and work in a team;
  • Be rigorous and proactive;
  • Confidentiality / Discretion.
