Director of Administration and Accounting

Today, we are looking for a Director of Administration and Accounting to strengthen our management team.

Your role:
As Director of Administration and Accounting, you will play a key role in the overall financial management of the company. Under the supervision of the General Manager, you will be responsible for accounting, cost management, financial planning and administrative resources. You will also be required to be a strategic advisor on financial performance and optimization of internal processes.

Your responsibilities:

• General accounting: Oversee the company's accounting, prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and ensure tax and regulatory compliance.
• Cost management: Analyze production costs, identify budget variances and propose solutions to improve the company's profitability.
• Financial planning: Develop budgets and financial forecasts, provide detailed analyses to support management's strategic decisions.
• Inventory management and investments: Monitor inventory levels and manage capital investments, optimizing resource allocation and asset management.
• Implementation and ERP optimization: Actively contribute to the implementation of the new ERP system (Epicor) and optimize its use to maximize efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
• Strategic role: Advise management on financial decisions, investments and potential savings, by participating in the company's strategic meetings.
• Versatility: In a dynamic environment, you will be required to take charge of various missions and propose innovative solutions to the challenges encountered.

Your profile:

• Education: University degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Certification: A CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) title is an asset.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in management accounting, with at least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, ERP, Excel and financial management tools.
• Qualities sought:

What we offer you:

• Competitive compensation: 85 $000 to $110,000 depending on experience.
