Project Manager

Kontron Canda is looking for a passionate Project Manager with bold ideas and a pioneering spirit to invent the future of how the embedded technology will evolve.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:

 

  • You will plan, organize and manage all activities and deliverables with your project team following PDP (Product Development Process) to release new products within cost, schedule, quality and scope;
  • You will drive technical feasibility including: optimal project schedules, development costs, product costs and other information that will be used for business case and project approval;
  • You will ensure the development, management and continuous improvement of project management methodologies;
  • You will actively manage and coordinate project risk assessment and mitigation activities;
  • You will ensure effective communication with the various project stakeholders, including clients;
  • You will calculate, document and publish key performance indicators and project dashboards;
  • Finally, you will coordinate the definition of new R&D projects as part of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) requests in collaboration with Program Managers and the Product Management team.

  • Has experience in managing multi million projects;

  • Is recognized as a positive change agent with a great vision of excellence;
  • Possesses knowledge and experience of Avionics norms like RTCA/DO-160G, Aircraft Certifications (STCs), ARINC Standards, agency authorities such as FAA/EASA/CAAC is an asset.

 

 

YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent;
  • Experience: Ideally more than 5 years of experience in Project Management;
  • Knowledge: Management of multidisciplinary teams, Agile methodology (SCRUM and others), customer requirements management, KPIs, subcontractor management, experience in an environment of development and integration of systems, electronic cards and / or software;
  • Asset: PMP, Knowledge and experience with Avionics norms like DO-160G, Qualification Testing, Linefit (Boeing, Airbus, etc), Avionics industry standards such as ARINC, working with Designated Design Authorities or directly with the FAA on projects;
  • Languages: English and French. Functional English is required due to various multidisciplinary tasks including communications with customers, the corporate and sister companies in the Kontron group.
