Territory Sales Manager

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Territory Manager to lead sales and customer development efforts across Nova Scotia. This role is responsible for managing and growing sales of our automotive lubricants’ product line through existing and new customers, including distributors, automotive service providers, independent garages, and retail channels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales within the automotive or lubricant or industrial sector and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow lubricant sales within the Nova Scotia territory by developing strong relationships with distributors, workshops, and retail customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and onboard new clients
  • Conduct regular customer visits to support product sell-through, provide training, and ensure service excellence
  • Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to stay competitive and relevant
  • Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and product launches in the region
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and customer data through CRM tools
  • Provide technical product support and ensure customers are educated on proper lubricant use and applications
  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery
  • Participate in the development of work tools and continuous improvement
  • Collect all necessary information for opening accounts, drafting sales and/or equipment loan contracts
  • Comply with established standards and procedures regarding the delivery process and communicate them to customers
  • Receive quote requests, write quotes, have them approved and meet with clients to present them

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the automotive, lubricant, or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of automotive lubricants and their applications is a plus. asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Nova Scotia regularly.
