Purchasing Manager

Our client is a fast-growing Quebec company. The company places efficiency, collaboration, and innovation at the heart of its operations.

To support its development, we are looking for an experienced  Purchasing Director  to participate in and contribute to the organization's growth.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the company's procurement strategy.

In this role, you will:

• Develop, implement, and evolve the procurement strategy to support the company's growth.
• Manage the procurement team and ensure its professional development.
• Negotiate agreements with national and international suppliers.
• Ensure product availability while optimizing costs and inventory levels
• Implement performance indicators (KPIs) to improve processes
• Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams
• Conduct market intelligence and identify new sourcing opportunities

What we are looking for

• 10 years of experience  in a similar role
• Education in management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field
• Strong negotiation and team management skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems and best practices in supply chain management Purchasing
• Results-oriented, engaging leadership, excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluent in French and English. Spanish would be a great asset
