Mechanical Engineering Technician – Contribute to innovative technical projects!

Location: Rivière-du-Loup

Are you passionate about mechanics, design, and innovation? A growing company is seeking to expand its team with a curious, resourceful mechanical engineering technician ready to take on real-world challenges in a stimulating and collaborative environment.

Your day-to-day duties will look like this:

• Design products, jigs, and tooling adapted to various needs.
• Manage and perform 3D printing.
• Operate a HandySCAN 3D scanner, analyze data using PolyWorks, and produce technical documentation.
• Create drawings and requests for quotes.
• Study the technical feasibility of sales projects.
• Participate in testing and compile results.
• Collaborate with production to integrate new products.
• Use simulation software to perform technical calculations (glass sector).

You're the ideal candidate if you have:

• A degree in mechanical engineering.
• Excellent command of Inventor or other CAD software.
• A strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and remarkable adaptability.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A creative mind, good stress management, and office-factory versatility.
• Assets: design/development experience, functional English, knowledge of the HandySCAN 3D scanner, PolyWorks and AutoCAD software.
