Quality Control Technician

Our client, Prévost Architectural, is looking for a: Quality Control Technician

Your mission

Under the supervision of the Quality and Methods Manager, you will be responsible for the compliance of raw materials and finished products. You will be a trusted partner, present on the ground to optimize processes and collaborate rigorously to achieve the company's objectives.

Your Main Responsibilities

Perform quality control of products and raw materials in accordance with established procedures.

• Evaluate and verify the results of the operations control plan.
• Complete and follow up on inspection, non-conformity, and defect reports.
• Verify documentation before and after production to ensure compliance.
• Actively participate in the development of manufacturing processes and production activities.
• Train and audit employees on quality control procedures.
• Communicate relevant information and report non-conformities to stakeholders (supervisor, production, purchasing, customer service).
• Participate in the development and to updating organizational processes.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a quality system.
• Perform any other tasks related to quality control excellence.

Requirements

• Academic Education: DEC in engineering, food science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role in quality assurance in the manufacturing industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of industrial processes, ability to read and interpret measuring instruments and technical documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral skills.
