Here's what we offer:

• Start date: December 2024;
• Job type: Full-time, contractual until the end of March 2025;
• Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed according to operational needs;
• Hourly salary $40;

The responsibilities associated with the position consist of:

• Operating a 10-wheel truck equipped with a scraper and a salt spreader and any other equipment required for snow removal work, using appropriate guidance methods;
• Inspecting and maintaining vehicles, in accordance with the department's preventive maintenance program and current laws;
• Carrying out operations safely;
• Monitoring weather conditions and patrolling the road network;
• Carrying out any other tasks assigned to him by his immediate superior or aimed at meeting any specific expectations that may be communicated to him by the latter.
  

  Requirements and skills wanted:

  • Possess a class 3 driver’s license (class 1 is an asset);
  • Have professional experience in snow removal on winter roads;
  • Snow removal skills card (an asset);
  • Excellent work planning and organization skills;
  • Good health and physical endurance (the employer reserves the right to require a medical check-up);
  • Autonomy, sense of initiative, rigor and resourcefulness;
  • Great availability;
  • Any skills card will be considered an asset.
