Technical Leader – Operational Technology (OT)

📍 Position based in Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, or Montreal (Saint-Laurent district)

Your role

As a Technical Leader – OT, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and recommending industrial network architectures and IT infrastructures tailored to customer needs.
You will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams and customers to ensure the performance, security, and reliability of the solutions deployed.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial Ethernet network architectures and virtualized IT infrastructures.

• Develop cybersecurity requirements according to critical infrastructure standards.

• Participate Define and implement technical solutions for client projects.

• Write the necessary functional analyses and technical documents.

• Collaborate in the preparation of bids, proposals, and cost estimates.

• Participate in client meetings to understand needs and propose appropriate solutions.

• Configure, test, and validate equipment and architectures before commissioning.

• Carry out commissioning and quality assurance at the customer's site.

• Ensure technological monitoring to keep expertise up to date and recommend best practices.

Required profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, automated production, or any other relevant field.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in a similar role.

• Languages: Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.

Tools and Technologies:

Extensive knowledge of Ethernet networks (Layer 2 and Layer 3), firewalls, and Cisco equipment.

Experience with virtualization environments (e.g., VMware) and virtualization servers.

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and industrial automation systems (PLC, DCS) (assets).

Proficiency in the Office suite.

Valid driver's license.
