Technician - Plans and Estimates

You will perform various technical tasks related to the development and execution of engineering studies as well as the creation and preparation of plans and preliminary estimates.

More specifically:

• You will collect and prepare the technical data necessary for the execution of municipal project studies and plans;
• You will prepare sketches and preliminary estimates of studies and project plans and submit them to your supervisor for verification and approval;
• You will conduct various research and prepare general information plans, technical data within the framework of studies and projects to be prepared by the Service;
• You will carry out or oversee the planning of projects and solutions to service requests assigned to you;
• You will inspect, as needed, projects under construction or the location of service requests to determine physical constraints and assess project implications;
• You will prepare and submit recommendations to your supervisor to improve current work methods.

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;
• Have twenty-four (24) months of relevant experience in the role, particularly in the municipal field or in an industrial environment;
• Possess a valid driver's license; 
• Good mastery of Autocad and Revit software; 
• Knowledge of ArcGIS and Civil 3D software is an asset; 
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel software;
• Ability to organize and plan your work;
