Assembler - Refractory mason

We are looking for an Assembler - Refractory (DAY) for a permanent, full-time position in Saint-Hubert.

Your responsibilities:

• Work with refractory brick
• Prepare parts for welding and perform mechanically welded assemblies (training possible)
• Analyze and interpret welding symbols and geometric dimensioning
• Proficient in MIG welding on steel and aluminum
• Responsible for equipment maintenance and the cleanliness of the workspace

Profile and skills sought:

• (DEP) in Masonry - Bricklaying - Welding - Carpentry - or any other related field
• Proficiency in reading 2D and 3D plans and interpreting symbols (required)
• Proficiency in MIG welding (August, training possible)
• Experience in a metal products manufacturing plant
• Organized and resourceful
• Methodical and meticulous in their work
• Aptitude for teamwork
• Experience with forklifts (asset)
• Experience with overhead cranes (asset)

Additional Information:

- Daytime Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday From 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Type of welding: MIG steel 95-98% of the time
