Building Mechanical Engineer

Work Location: Montreal & Quebec City, QC
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: $80,000 to $150,000 per year (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical systems for construction projects (HVAC, plumbing, etc.)

• Perform heat load and ventilation calculations

• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates

• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination with other building professionals

• Provide technical support during construction work

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in building mechanics

• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and calculation software (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trace)

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Location of Residence:
The candidate can be based in Quebec City or Montreal. Occasional travel to Boucherville is expected.
