💼 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure renewals are completed within established deadlines
• Maintain client retention
• Process new business within required timeframes
• Perform risk analysis, coverage review and identify changes or gaps compared to last renewal
• Prepare, verify and transmit various insurance documents such as quotes, coverage notes, invoices, certificates of insurance, endorsements, etc.
• Prepare proposals that were completed in the last year and those to be completed for the new year
• Gather information for updates with clients or in collaboration with the producer (if applicable)
• Develop marketing strategies and/or collaborate with the producer (if applicable)
• Provide customer service, receive calls, respond to specific needs and work in collaboration with the "producer" etc.
• Negotiate renewal conditions and modifications (endorsements) with insurers
• Ensure collection of accounts receivable in collaboration with the Finance Department
• Monitor recommendations issued by insurers and inform the producer of any issues
• Handle insured claims requests and provide required assistance

🎓 Requirements

• University degree in Business/Finance OR DEC in Insurance and Financial Services
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in commercial insurance brokerage
• AMF insurance broker license
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Knowledge of EPIC software (asset)
