Construction Estimator/Project Manager

We are looking for an Estimator/Project Manager for a permanent, full-time position to expand our team.

Your primary responsibility will be to estimate project costs, in addition to participating in work planning and project monitoring.

In this new role, you will be responsible for:

  • Visit project sites;
  • Participate in estimating project costs;
  • Analyze plans and specifications, as well as general conditions;
  • Invite subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Prepare the final budget for presentation to the client. ;
  • Meet and discuss with the client at various stages of the project;
  • Ensure cost control;
  • Ensure quality control;
  • Finalize project costs upon project completion;
  • Contribute to the company's continuous improvement;
  • Ensure close collaboration with subcontractors and foremen for the execution of work;
  • Coordinate and supervise project stages;
  • Perform any other tasks compatible with your duties.

Your ability to collaborate with other team members and your strong work ethic will certainly be put to use every day to ensure a flawless product and service, as well as customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have at least 10 years of experience in the construction/renovation industry, including some as a foreman, project manager, or estimator;
  • Know and master Word and Excel software (Smartsheet is an asset);
  • Have the ability to work under pressure, plan priorities well, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Be meticulous, rigorous, and autonomous;
  • Have a skills card from the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ); (asset)
  • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting at $60,000.00 per year
