Main challenges

• Lead teams of technicians, designers and engineers and coordinate the efforts of various internal and external stakeholders in order to carry out building mechanics design projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential);
• Carry out technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various building mechanics projects;
• Establish contact with the customer in order to understand their needs;
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout projects;
• Carry out surveys of existing installations;
• Analyze, design and adapt installations related to building mechanics;
• Develop new systems and improve existing ones;
• Carry out assessments of obsolescence, preliminary projects, energy conservation, etc. ;
• Collaborate as a team to carry out building mechanical system design projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential);
• Coordinate interdisciplinary with external professionals;
• Evaluate the mechanical construction cost budget;
• Write quotes and technical reports;
• Provide assistance with work supervision.

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (specializing in building) or building engineering;
• At least five (5) years of experience in consulting engineering.
