Intermediate Structural Engineer, full-time, permanent

SBSA Structural Consulting Experts- is a growing Montreal-based corporation registered in the province of Quebec that specializes in structural engineering consulting services. Our mission is to design cutting-edge structures, deliver sustainable and cost-effective projects, and provide exceptional service to our clients to contribute to the success of their construction projects. Our services include building design, industrial structure design, steel structure assembly design, and legal and engineering expertise.

SBSA is a proud member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, and numerous other professional associations. SBSA has also completed projects in other provinces and the United States.

From industrial to commercial projects, from low to high rise, we design all types of building structures and offer services for all stages of the project life cycle.

We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer, OIQ member, to join our team. We thrive on a collaborative and respectful approach.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and analyze concrete, steel, or wood structures
• Prepare technical reports
• Conduct site inspections and attend site meetings
• Prepare plans and specifications

Required Skills

• Proficiency in analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, or equivalent
• Knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete structure design
• Knowledge of NBCC, CSA S16 and CSA A23.3
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
• Experience in the construction industry
• Written and spoken fluency in French
• Written and spoken fluency in English
