Junior structural engineer

SBSA Structural Consulting Experts- is a Montreal corporation registered in the province of Quebec that specializes in structural engineering consulting services. Our mission is to design state-of-the-art structures, carry out sustainable and economical projects, and offer exceptional service to our customers in order to contribute to the success of their construction projects. Our services include building design, industrial structure design, steel structure assembly design, and legal and engineering services.

We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer to join our team.

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and analyze concrete, steel or wood structures
• Prepare technical reports
• Perform site checks and attend site meetings
• Prepare plans and specifications

Skills wanted

• Proficiency in analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE or equivalent
• Knowledge of the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Knowledge of NBCC, CSA S16, and CSA A23.3
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
• Construction experience
• Proficiency in the written and spoken French language
• Advanced level of written and spoken English language
