Painter's assistant / furniture finishing painter

We are a company specializing in the resurfacing and finishing of high-end cabinetry, and we are looking for a painter's assistant or furniture finishing painter to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform sanding and surface preparation for finishing
• Participate in the various stages of furniture finishing, including the application of paints, varnishes and other coatings
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure high-quality finishes

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of experience in sanding and finishing preparation
• Experience as a painter, an asset
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail

Working conditions:

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to noon
• Salary: Between $22/hr and $28/hr depending on experience
• Plant closed for 2 weeks at Christmas and 2 weeks during construction holidays
