Senior Medical Secretary / Branch Manager – Private Clinic – Montreal Region (Villeray and West Island Clinics)

We are currently looking for a Senior Secretary / Branch Manager who will work in our clinics in the Montreal region (Villeray and West Island). Dynamic and welcoming work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients
  • Answer phone calls
  • Communicate available services
  • Confirm patient appointments
  • Record daily payments and perform end-of-day balancing
  • Manage orders and inventory of administrative supplies
  • Scan medical results
  • Schedule specialist appointments
  • Plan the schedules of secretaries and physicians
  • Assign tasks and ensure follow-ups
  • Supervise and coach sales and the achievement of objectives for the secretarial team
  • Follow up on accounts receivable daily
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the clinic’s secretariat
  • Validate billing completed by medical secretaries
  • Lead a weekly team meeting
  • Organize and manage training
  • Attend various team meetings

Requirements

  • Diploma in medical or dental secretarial studies or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a medical clinic
  • Friendly demeanor, courtesy, and strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Strong ability to advise patients about services offered
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to multitask efficiently
  • High level of autonomy and strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of the MYLE software (an asset)

Job Type:  Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $27.00 to $31.50 per hour, depending on experience

Evening and weekend bonuses
