Requisition food and kitchen suppliesSupervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion foodTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety proceduresEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Hire food service staffEnsure that food and service meet quality control standardsAddress customers' complaints or concernsMaintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastageMust have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genresSupervise and check assembly of traysEstablish work schedulesInspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standardsEnsure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
