Conventional Machinist

We are looking for a qualified Production Machinist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Production Coordinator, the incumbent will ensure the fabrication and assembly of manufactured systems, following guidelines established by the Engineering department and referring to work orders. He or she will ensure product quality and compliance with production criteria.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture mechanical parts and assemble components according to work orders, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with quality standards.
  • Machining and final assembly of parts to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Plan and adjust production priorities according to delivery times and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to manage materials, prepare work plans, and monitor new products in production.
  • Plan the purchase of tools and raw materials required for operations.
  • Supervise and maintain machine tools, ensuring their optimal use and longevity.
  • Design and manufacture machining jigs. to optimize machining and mechanical assembly processes.
  • Participate in the machining of prototypes in conjunction with the engineering and R&D departments.
  • Participate in management meetings to coordinate operations and propose continuous improvements.

Working Conditions:

  • 24 to 32 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule depending on availability

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Vocational diploma in machining or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the production of mechanical components, including welding experience.

Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in machining concepts and reading assembly drawings.
  • Advanced knowledge of machine tool use, following work order instructions.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques (Arc, MIG, TIG).
  • Good understanding of materials and their use in production.
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing management and quality systems.
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems.
